The Al-Sultan Abdullah Foundation (YASA), in collaboration with Bermaz Auto Berhad, organized the Career Pathway Exposure Programme at SMK Semambu, Kuantan. This programme is one of the initiatives aimed at providing early exposure to students about career opportunities in the automotive industry, particularly through participation in the BERMAZ Apprenticeship programme for the August 2025 intake.
The briefing session was delivered by two experienced speakers, Puan Siti Zaleha Tahir and Encik Adli Adun, who shared their knowledge and experiences in the automotive industry, as well as provided valuable guidance to the students in planning their future careers should they choose to join Bermaz.
The programme also received full support from the school, with the presence of the Principal of SMK Semambu, Puan Norzaini Azlina binti Zainudin @ Zaidun, who welcomed this initiative as a step towards empowering the students’ future through strategic collaboration between the school and the industry.
In addition, a strategic discussion session was also held between YASA and Bermaz Auto Berhad, chaired by Tuan Haji Mohd Fakhrul Islam Juhali, General Manager of YASA. The meeting discussed the direction of long-term collaboration, including improvements to the apprenticeship programme structure, expansion of implementation locations, as well as additional opportunities for high-potential students in the state of Pahang.
It is hoped that this programme will bring benefits and inspire students to continue striving to achieve their ambitions in the field they pursue.
