Kuantan, 2 October 2024 – The Akademi Menara Gading 2.0 YASA-Next Generation Accelerator (AMG Next-Gen) program focuses on developing a new generation of youth in the state, aiming to produce students with soft skills in leadership, volunteerism, and physical and mental well-being.
General Manager of Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah (YASA), Mohd. Fakhrul Islam Juhali, said that the target beneficiaries are underprivileged students, asnaf (eligible zakat recipients), and orphans.
“In addition to producing students with soft skills in leadership, volunteerism, and overall well-being, this program provides a holistic human capital development platform that spans various academic fields, particularly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics),” he said during the Launch Ceremony of AMG Next-Gen at Dewan Astaka, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) here today.
Fakhrul Islam further added that the launch of AMG Next-Gen reflects the commitment of YASA and UMPSA in helping students in the state achieve their full potential.
“With this integrated effort, we are confident of seeing improvements in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results and the development of excellent students who are competitive at both the national and international levels.
“I hope students will take full advantage of this program. Do not hesitate to ask questions and participate actively so that the knowledge gained can help in facing future challenges.
“May our efforts be blessed and bring significant benefits to the development of Pahang’s younger generation,” he said.
