27 January 2024 – His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Yang di-Pertuan Agong graciously visited and extended care to flood victims at the temporary evacuation centre (PPS) at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Lembing, Kuantan, Pahang yesterday morning.

Also present accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness the Regent of Pahang.

In addition to checking in and mingling with the evacuees, His Majesty also graciously presented donations and food aid from the Al-Sultan Abdullah Foundation to more than 200 heads of households at the PPS.

His Majesty expressed appreciation to the security forces such as the police, fire department, military, and the Malaysian Civil Defence Force, as well as government agencies who have worked tirelessly to assist the flood victims.
